Tuesday, January 24, 2012 Abram was not really a good sleeper for me. I think he just wanted to follow in his sister's footsteps...I remember her being pretty much that same way. Bless Momma and Daddy's hearts...they have two babies. If anyone can do it, it's them, though. They are great parents and have made some adorable kiddos.

Tuesday, January 24, 2012 It's kind of ironic that I ended up Minot, ND where the favorite pastime is some sort of sport. Can I just say that my athletic ability is zero? less than zero? I know nothing about anything related to sports. I always feel like I'm going to say something really stupid when asked to do sport's pictures. So I just compensate by saying stupid things all the time...it's my coping mechanism. Also I like to ask what position you play. I don't know what any positions do, but it seems like a really appropriate question. I did know, however; that a hockey stick is called a...hockey stick...because of Peanuts. Remember when Sally forgot her one line for the Christmas play (Hark!) and instead said "Hockey Stick!"? This is the epitome of my sport's lingo. Why can't the preferred pasttime be cooking or shopping or traveling? These things...I know something about.
Bradi knows something about hockey. She moved here for hockey. In my opinion, she pretty much rocks at hockey...and I'm pretty sure my opinion is worth something in this case. She's also cute and sweet and has good hair. and I KNOW my opinion counts in matters of hair.

I've never seen such a chubbie preemie. She was a good sleeper for me, which was a great added bonus. I'm such a sucker for chubby babies; maybe because my babies were just straight-up FAT. Happy newborns to me; I photographed Josie the day before a weekend away, came back and photographed another the day I got home and I have several Mommas due coming right up. Have I mentioned that I love babies?
Tuesday, January 24, 2012 Carolyn and Kevin have a sweet romance. They went to NYC over New Year's to celebrate their first anniversary of being together and to watch the ball drop. They look at each other with respect and love and this great appreciation that they get to share the rest of their lives together. It's just a sweet thing. Can't wait to celebrate their wedding with them on 5.5.
Tuesday, January 17, 2012 When I talked to Marshall and Lindsay about their wedding day they both agreed: it was going to be the perfect day, no matter what happened. They were so excited to be married. Someone asked Marshall if he was nervous and he said, "what's there to be nervous about?" It was an honor to capture their love and the snowy day couldn't have been prettier. Capturing the dance is kind of "my thing" and Marshall and his brother own Up All Nite DJ and they couldn't have been better about getting the party started. It was an awesome dance and an awesome day.
The reception details were all done by Lindsay and her friends and family. They were awesome. I LOVED the greens. So simple and so beautiful.
This was right around the time I got mooned...that will teach me to ask one of the ushers to make the groom laugh.
